Every Day is Pie Day, But Only One Day is Pi Day.
Share your Pi Days past and present with us!
At Village PieMaker, we like to think of every day as Pie Day. That’s why we hand make every 10” deep-dish pie and finish it by hand-crimping our heavenly crust. We combine our passion for pie with a dedication to our precise process and quality standards. In other words, we’re able to bring the best handmade pies to your local grocer or direct to your home through a deliberate marriage of art and science.
Most agree that every day is a good day for pie, and holidays, birthdays, or any number of special occasions are even better. But there’s one extra special day that comes only once a year: Pi Day.
The way we see it, Pi Day, the annual celebration of the mathematical constant π (pi) can only be celebrated correctly by eating mass quantities of pie. Is there any better equation than one delicious pie divided by family plus friends?
For the un-indoctrinated, Pi Day is observed on March 14, which is coincidentally the birthday of Albert Einstein. Legend has it, Einstein was arguably quite a lover of pie, as well as π. Einstein once said, “Imagination is more important than knowledge.” With this spirit in mind that we encourage you to use your imagination on March 14th.
Top a luscious peach pie with a scoop of pralines and cream, or draw up a pi day menu with blueberry for breakfast, cherry for lunch and rhubarb for dinner, with a berry medley for dessert. Use your imagination, and make every Pi Day a very special Pie day with The Villiage PieMaker.
At Village PieMaker we make it easy to enjoy and share the very best handmade pies for your annual Pi Day celebrations and every Pie Day in between. Check out our Pie of the Month club, Pie Shop, or your local market’s frozen dessert section to unravel the secrets of the universe. . .or just the secret to a fantastic experience with family and friends celebrating pi(e) in all its forms.
