|
Apple Pie: "Our Apple Pies are spiced
just right and made with only crisp Granny-Smith apples.
We slice our apples a bit "chunky" so when you
sink your teeth into one of our apple pies you'll experience
an apple orchard delight with every bite". |
Berry Medley Pie: "Ahhh...Berry Medley...
a pie that is quickly rising in popularity with The Village
Pie Maker patrons. A berry lover's delight with four kinds
of berries: Blueberries, Blackberries, Raspberries, and
Strawberries. With a scoop of ice cream it's as pretty to
serve as it is yummy to eat!" |
Blackberry Pie: "Folks tell us they
remember grandma making Blackberry pie. Pull a hot Blackberry
pie from your oven and recall fond memories of days past
in grandma's kitchen. Our Blackberry Pies are rich with
lots of deep purple berries and old-fashioned taste." |
Black Cherry Pie: "Sweet, dark cherries
are plump and juicy and brimming with flavor. This is our
latest addition to the Village Pie Maker varieties. We call
it Black Cherry, but it's not the black sheep of the bunch.
Tried and true cherry pie lovers are finding this a nice
change of pace!" |
Blueberry Pie: "You won't get the "blues"
when you serve up a slice of this pie. Our Blueberries are
so plump and ripe they almost "pop" in your mouth.
For the Blueberry lover this is the one!" |
Cherry Pie: "This one is a winner! Lots
of bright red Cherries--tart, but with just the right amount
of sugar and nestled in our flakey crust. Talk about a good
old-fashioned pie, here it is!!" |
Cran-Apple-Nut Pie: "This is an apple
all dressed up for Sunday dinner. Granny-Smith apples are
tucked in our buttery crust with a dab of cranberries, and
a tad of English walnuts. Just enough for a hunch of color,
a crunch of texture and a punch of flavor. It's a pie shop
favorite and we think you will like it, too!" |
Gooseberry Pie: My grandma said summertime
on the plains of Nebraska meant Gooseberries would be ripe
for the picking. Imagine enjoying this tart and tangy pie
from a shady front porch. With our homemade crust and a
scoop of ice cream it's a dessert remembered from way back
when. If you enjoy a pie that's a little less sweet try
Gooseberry for a change of pace. |
Peach Pie: "At the pie shop we joke
that the Peaches are so bright in color they hurt our eyes!
We think you will enjoy our thick slices of sweet Peaches
surrounded by a light, buttery crust. It will look like
you worked all day in the kitchen to serve this one up." |
Raspberry/Peach Pie: "This one is a
beauty on the plate and twice as good to eat. Sweet tangy
Raspberries dazzle like jewels in the sweet golden slices
of Peaches. This one is blue-ribbon good!! Try it and you'll
agree." |
Strawberry/Rhubarb Pie: "Tart zippy
Rhubarb blends perfectly with red ripe Strawberries. A not
too sweet, not too tart sensation. It's always a popular
selection with pie shop customers." |
